Once faculty registered for the course, I sent out a "Welcome" email with the course syllabus & schedule. I also uploaded these materials to their course shell. We use Desire2Learn (D2L)as our Learning Management System (LMS), so all instructors were given access to our "course shell." I asked them to read one document, participate in two online discussions, and come to class with one "secret" object. Below is the link to the reading materials for Week 1.
